I don't know how many others have seen this. I just remembered people talking about how difficult the Lalita battle was with the items. I don't know how recently this got added. But if you play nice with her brother, as well as her. You get a pretty hilarious alternative to the fight.

The Guiding the Lost Souls quest seems bugged. I have cleared the pond paths and its not showing.
It won't show in the Task List immediately, you'll just get a "I'm done here" message. The Task List will update when you get back to Augalamh and talk to the bro that gave you the task.
I looked through the events and didn't find anything out of place except for one possible instance of that notification being duplicated if you did it outside the Haunt then visited the pond during the Haunt, which has been fixed for v0.21.
Though I also notice that notification doesn't actually tell you what to do next, it just says "I'm done here." So that's also been updated for v0.21.
So I freed the prisoner at Griselda's mansion, I also got the headband from Beverly. After I dealt with Griselda, I searched every where for the prisoner girl, but didn't find her, does she show up later? I moved on, so I'm gonna be upset if i missed her after all that work. lol
Without spoiling anything - yes, she shows up later.

The changelog says there are feeze events for Iris. Does that mean there is a way to recruit her?

I keep picking up recipes gifts for a cook, but I can't give them to Jenny, did I miss a maid or something that i could give them to?
Yup. Once you have access to the Ambrose Estate.
Not much. Something like 7 out of more than 100 scenes. Of those, 3 have non-futa variants, and those that don't are only in the Estate that you'd expect to find futa in. There's also an item to get that gives you an option to toggle it off so futa scenes are either automatically skipped, automatically use the non-futa version, or ask you if you're sure you want to see the scene.
It's very easy to avoid if you don't want it.
Depending on where you are in the story, you might not be missing anything. You can start finding those items before you recruit the Maid they're for.
How do you recruit Iris? I have spent hours talking to the people in town trying to see if there are any hints or ways to progress, I have 1 or more of every item sold in town except furniture type items but I just can't figure out how to make any progress with recruiting her. Really hesitant to continue with the story before I get her as I want to make sure I get her before the freeze starts.

You're on the right track if you want to recruit her before the Freeze. You can get her before the end of the segment she's in, but to do that, you need the trophy from the gift shop. Once you get that, an extra NPC will appear in the clothing shop to sell you the apron you need to give her before you're otherwise able to get it.
There isn't an official fix. You can try a few things, though - there's a post linked in the developer notes in the OP with one solution.
Otherwise you can try replacing the index.html file with the FOSSILindex.html file by renaming them.
I swear, that girl has more problems with missing images...
